The Oakley is privately owned (and run) guest house offering a warm welcome in pleasant surroundings very close to all of the fantastic facilities offered in Skegness. We aim to be of service to our guests and will endeavour to make your stay a pleasant experience. We have over the past years undertaken an extensive program of refurbishment and improvement for your comfort and convenience.

The Oakley was the first guest house on Drummond Road (parallel with the South Promenade). The building stands out prominently with its timber framed white panels and stone facade. We have endeavered to retain the character of the building which has been extensively refurbished on the interior even the double glazing has followed the patterns of the original windows.

Every bedroom has an open view and is not impeded by buildings or overlooked by neighbours making them bright and cheerfull.we also have a stanna stair lift to all first floor rooms.

We are only a few minutes walk from the Clock Tower, South Beach, Bowling Greens, Boating Lakes, Fun Fairs, Embassy Theatre, Open air and covered swimming facilities, Childrens Paddling Pool (THE NEW FAIRY DELL)just two minutes walk away, Pitch & Putt,Pubs,Clubs and the compact shopping centre of Skegness.

The Bus and Railway Stations are within reasonable walking distance for the average person. BUT DONT FORGET YOU MAY HAVE A HEAVY SUITCASE OR BAGGAGE WHICH MAY FEEL TWICE THE SIZE AFTER WALKING.

GOLFERS Why not try a round at the prestigous SEACROFT golf course or The NORTH SHORE we are located midway between the two and both within easy reach.Or perhaps for the novice a round at Southview a course not for the fainthearted

To the North and either a pleasant walk along the seafront or a short bus ride away, we have the extensive facility of Fantasy Island and Ingoldmells -dont forget the market. There you will find large rides to thrill or smaller rides to enjoy for all ages, bars food and all you would expect on this wonderfull coast.

To the South there is one of the best nature reserves in England that of Gibraltar Point covering several square miles of beautifull sand dunes and golden sands.

A pick up service from local train/bus stations is available with prior arrangment free, we will also take you back to them after your stay, also by prior arrangment.
